Workplace Purpose CRE & Strategy Design
Workplace Purpose CRE & Strategy Design
Many organisations have been looking at their culture, workspace, and people agenda. It is clear that over recent years the combination of these 3 areas has driven a critical part of organisational success.
Now in the post-Covid era of ‘new ways of working’ this has become more important. The fight for global talent requires approaches that support a human-centric design process. We must work now to overhaul traditional and out-of-date flexible working practices in favour of more agile ways of working.
The actual workspace is under pressure to be able to facilitate social and collaborative space that attracts employees and drives enhanced productivity.
Having worked with Leesman as one of many ways to develop workplace strategy, I have seen how to understand what is important to a company’s workforce and what areas should be improved.
They have shown a progressive example of how to engage with your workforce to enable to culture and work environment that supports organisational success. Many organisations are now embracing this and pushing for change, and I am leading in this space to help organisations bring such ideas to life.

The key attributes of the Hybrid Office:
Hybrid workplace – effective design to support collaboration and quiet space to allow for all activities.
FOMO – focus on community and connection – events, networking, community events. Create a place that’s worth the commute. Community management and program of activities.
Wellbeing and mental health – clean, safe, more personal space, reflection and quiet space, air quality and biophillic design.
Flexible real Estate, Technology and a culture – the key to success
A successful workplace strategy is underpinned by the right corporate real estate foot print, connecting the organisation with the right local and global systems and connectivity whilst driving a culture that is human centric with a fundamental focus on flexibility and health & wellbeing.
These 3 areas will form a critical strategy to allow organisations to be successful, attract and retain talent and I have been developing strategies and value propositions to support organisation with this.
Companies will be focussed on investing in their capital which is the talent and the real estate.
Effective management of the corporate real estate footprint is an opportunity to drive efficiency and exceptional workspace that support ‘new ways of working’ in a post Covid world.
Substandard workspace and offices will not be tolerated, and it will be important to the attraction and retention of talent in any organisation.
The workplace is becoming an area of experiences, collaboration and productivity which is delivered through exceptional workplace design, and the right technology solutions.
Underpinning all of this is a culture that supports the employee and their personal requirements.
How can organisations embrace this flexibility in terms of working flexibly and allow for different ways of working in terms of locations?
Through a CRE strategy that embraces choice, flex and opportunity.
Many different ways of solving this are available and I have been working with businesses to shape and create these solutions.
